December 16, 2008 (Los Angeles, CA) - Brown University Club of Boston Launches on AlumniMagnet!
The Boston Chapter of the Brown Alumni Association (http://www.brownclubofboston.com ) has just launched its new AlumniMagnet website and club management system, joining other alumni club leaders around the country who have been using the industry leader, AlumniMagnet, to power their since 2005.
The Brown University Club of Boston's alumni website and club management system on The Magnet offers a multitude of features and benefits, delivering a simple, streamlined, and value-oriented communication and interaction web to Brown alumni living and working in the Boston metropolitan area.
At its core, The Magnet's technology delivers to the administrative staff a high degree of control over all types of maintenance tasks. In particular, the processes of content creation, membership tracking, event management, and other tedious day-to-day tasks are now mostly automated and/or distributed among the team. Before adopting The Magnet, this chapter's website required their Webmaster's time and intervention for most tasks. Now the Webmaster job is divided among several of the chapter's staff and volunteers, none of whom have--or need--more than minimal background in web design.
From its inception, The Magnet's architecture was designed with associations and alumni organizations in mind. The result is a suite of tools that covers exactly what corporate alumni associations need to shine with their members, according to Kelly Messner, The Magnet's Product Manager.
